Doce Cantos Gate

This is the most modest of all the doors and the only one that is used only for access, in this case from the Alficén quarter to the Alcántara bridge.

It does not lead to outside the city, but to the fortifies square of Armas la Puerta in Alcántara.

It was walled up for centuries, but with the civic renovations in the twenties of the XX Century it was restored and declared of cultural interest, although its Arabic structure had been altered.
